Pfeuferstr. 36 • 81373 München (Munich)
Brought up and educated in London I worked for a year, after graduating, as a volunteer teacher in a large boarding school in what was then West Pakistan. The first years of my subsequent working life – with industrial and consulting companies – were spent in England and Wales.
After moving to the German Federal Republic in the 1970s I worked mainly as a management consultant throughout Europe including, from 1990 on, the Russian Republic and other former communist states. In addition I also worked in the USA, North Africa and the Middle East, where several locations were well off the tourist track.
During my time in the industry I wrote a technical book (case studies in OR – operational/operations research) in German, which was published in Munich.
Over the years I have written a film script, many short stories, two novellas and now 'Bengal 1943', my first full-length novel. Oh yes, from a very early age I have been a passionate reader of other people's novels.
